ABOUT US

Located 50 km south of Hastings on Highway 50, we have 5 acres of land with 3.5 acres planted in peony plants, some of the images can be found in our gallery.  We took over the property in early 2015, it was previously known as Trenrose and was developed by Rosemary and Trevor Rendle. What started off as a horse paddock was lovingly developed into the landscaped garden that it is today.

There are over 80 varieties of peonies throughout the property, however, the emphasis is on producing export quality flowers in the main flower beds. In this area, there are approximately 20 different varieties, ranging from whites to the soft pinks, right through to deep dark reds.

Tikokino Peonies is a family run business, with all members helping out throughout the year. 

When picked,  each peony variety is picked at the optimum stage ready for export. This means that the flowers will store well and be at there best when they get to our clients. 

Our home garden is open to the public to enjoy. This offers a relaxing breakaway and compliments the visit to the peonies.
